Catabol(Green Capsules)

“SETTING THE CARBURETTOR”

1. Boost VO2 Max
2. Bring on Second Wind Stage
3.Speed Up Activity levels

With a limited amount of petrol to your disposal, no mistuned carburettor or malfunctioning engine part(s) will contribute towards optimal mileage.

The same principle is applicable to the human body. Immediately prior to an event, the body must be geared into a catabolic state and not be in an anabolic state. The well-described second wind stage attained during the initial phases (10-40 minutes depending on your current fitness level: physiological profile image) of increased physical activity, underlines the importance of a steady state condition on performance ability.

The nutrients in the green capsules also speed up the activity levels of the relevant catabolic processes in the metabolism that are normally activated by hormonal responses during the initial phases of strenuous physical activity. In effect it will set the physiologic-biochemical carburettors of the body in a mode as if the athlete has already been active for 10 minutes and in the process not only decreases the oxygen deficit that normally occurs in the initial stages of strenuous physical activity, but also shifts the lactic acid turning point to a higher workload.

SCIENTIFIC DETAILS

The physiology of a human body during exercise differs from the physiology of the body during rest, due to the increased stress levels. The ability of the body to adapt to this changing environment will be determined by the current “fitness” level of the athlete.
The blue capsules stimulate the relevant metabolic (physiological-biochemical) processes at work during competition, immediately before competition and, in doing so, mimic the so-called "second wind stage attained during physical activity", prior to participating in strenuous physical activity. In effect this approach elevates the activity levels of the relevant metabolic systems to levels usually reached only after 10 minutes or more of strenuous physical activity, thereby leading to an enhancement of overall performance.

Example 1
Effect on maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max)
Athletes competing at provincial and national level were subjected to indirect calorimetric testing during a graded (progressive increase in the workload) treadmill running test to exhaustion. In most cases the maximum oxygen consumption increased significantly (≥10%).

Figure 1 shows that for the control run a numerical value of 51 ml O2/kg body weight/minute was measured. When the athlete consumed the prescribed dosage of red capsules 45 minutes prior to testing, the numerical value increased with 13,7 % to 58 ml O2/kg body weight/minute.

specific amino acids on the VO2max.

Example 2
Effect on lipid oxidation
An increase in the amount of oxygen consumed explains only that - (the amount of oxygen consumed). This variable does not stipulate what type of macronutrient is oxidized. Additional studies revealed that at sub-maximal intensity levels, the supplement stimulates the activity levels of the aerobic-lipolytic system relative to the aerobic-glycolytic system. That means that in the presence of oxygen, more fat is burned, relative to carbohydrate.

Figure 2 shows the time (days) required to burn 1 kilogram of fat at different exercise intensities in the absence (BLACK BARS) or presence of a specific amino acid(s) (RED BARS) for two individuals during a sedentary state compared to an increase in workload.

During a sedentary state (low physical activity intensity levels – inactiveness) and in the absence of the amino acid supplement, individual A needs 107 days to burn 1 kg of fat. This figure changes to 73 days when the amino acid supplement is used. Brisk walking (pulse rate ± 130 beats per minute) coincides with values of 34 and 24 days respectively. These results clearly indicate the importance of aerobic exercise on the ability to burn fat:
The higher the pulse rate, the less fat is burned – one good reason why many individuals gain no visible benefit from training programmes. These individuals train at too high intensity levels to burn fat optimally.

Figure 2: Lipid burning capacity

The ability to alter the metabolic status with the aid of nutritional substances exists – relates to a Figure of ± 30% for the present intervention. This is one good reason why what you become is determined by what you ingest. It is unfortunate that this fact is often ignored.
Biochemical individuality and genetic predisposition are two factors that influence a person’s ability to burn fat. The mitochondrial capacity (“power houses” of the cell and the only organelle that can burn fat in a direct manner) explains the metabolic difference for this variable between any two individuals. That is why one individual is susceptible to accumulate more fat during similar sedentary and active states (under normal living conditions) than another individual. This also explains why the consumption of one hamburger for one individual can gain the same amount of fat in adipose tissue depots (peripheral fat reserves) as the consumption of six hamburgers under the same circumstances for another person.
By burning less carbohydrate (muscle glycogen), the lactic acid threshold shifts towards a larger workload resulting not only in markedly higher comfort levels for a specific workload, but also to an improvement in the amount of work that can be done within a specific time-imposed interval.

The aforementioned examples suggest that specific amino acids affect metabolism. The question is whether these alterations in metabolism show performance-enhancing properties.

Example 3
Effect of the green capsules on performance determined under laboratory conditions

Can athletes maintain a specific pace for a longer period of time by implementing these aforementioned phenomena in practice? The challenge put forward is to prolong the period before exercise-induced fatigue sets in for a specific workload. The mechanisms for the actions are of minor importance.

Eleven (11) well-trained cyclists were subjected to a bike-ergometry test at a predetermined sub-maximal constant workload until the athlete could not further continue with the predetermined workload. This point in time was designated as the onset of recovery. All athletes were monitored, assisted and encouraged by biokineticists. Water was provided ad lib.
The athletes consumed a placebo or the amino acid mixture (AA) in a double blind crossover protocol design, on 2 separate occasions respectively. A washout period of 3 days was implemented between the trial rides.

Results:
Figure 3 shows that, when compared to the placebo trial ride (grey bars), the ingestion of the green capsules enhanced the performance ability in 7/11 cases studied (red bars).
